I always know when that happens because he will come screeching down the stairs and jumps off the bottom one to find me. Once he finds me he is so excited because he knows he will get a treat for being a good boy for potttying on the pad.

There are so many goofy things I can name. He is just so much entertainment. My hubby made the joke that he wishes he could make me smile as much as my little guy does!

LOL - Ringo does #1 also! Except he will parade with it in front of me and as soon as he's got my attention he will start running like a madman so I will chase him!

I would say Ranger's two major quirks are these:

1) Whenever I give him a treat, he can't just eat it, he has to go running through the house throwing and tossing his treat, making these funny little noises the whole time. It takes him forever to finish one!!

2) Whenever he gets mad at me or hard-headed about something he crouches down and kicks his back legs out like crazy- all at the time growling and glaring at me. My hubby calls it the "screw you."

I am having a great time reading all this stuff!! I can see my baby doing all this stuff at least once a day. They just crack me up!!!

One of the craziest things Carlos does is every mornning when my hubby wakes up Carlos always moves and sleeps in DH spot. Then in about 20 minutes when he comes in to say goodbye Carlos jumps up like a stranger has just entered the room and starts this weird howling/growling thing. He then tries to bite DH hands. Then as soon as he leaves the room Carlos lays right back down in his spot and goes back to sleep.

This is a great thread. I loved reading everyone's posts.

Every time Zoeybear makes a poo on her pad, she starts pawing the ground like a charging bull. Her latest thing is to jump up in the office chair & paw the chair. She is so proud of her poos.

Zoeybear also stalks Baby Chloe. She looks like a lion sneaking through the grass plains of Africa, then "pounces on her."

Baby Chloe only has one habbit. Whenever she gets up after a nap, she streatches out, one paw in front of the other like she is crawling. She looks like an Army guy crawling through the jungle.

Whenever there is a knock on the door, Suzi runs over to me and spins in circles. When the person is here she"attacks" them with kissess and jumps all over them.
if my son leaves his bedroom door open Suzi runs in there and grabs a "treasure" . then runs away with it.
She will also give my son kissess all over his face, ears, chin and neck for at least 10 min. She is a ear licker !
Suzi also loves our bathtub. She jumps in whenever she can!

Another crazy thing Carlos does is when its bed time i pick up all his toys and put them up and he knows its bed time so he runs to his food dish and quickly starts to eat anything left in the bowl. When I walk over to pick it up he will hold his head in the bowl and eat even faster. I crack up every time!

Sasha has done just about everything in this thread..lol. I'm just going to repeat them because I can't keep replying to everyone.

1. She pees balancing on her front 2 legs. Sometimes she'll put the back left one down but the back right is ALWAYS up. She runs away then comes right back to smell it. ewww
2. She won't eat her kibble directly in front of her bowl. She'll grab 3 or 4 in her mouth, walk away a few steps, toss them on the floor and then eats it. She'll go back to grab more and repeats the process until she's done eating
3. When she gets a fresh new flossie or treat she likes to thrash around with it before she chews on it. This gets tiring for me if we are on the bed or couch because she usually throws it on the floor and will stare at it like "uh-oh" but won't get it. So I have to pick it up for her.
4. If she's walking or running and she stops suddenly she always keeps her front right paw up. My bf and I always tease her saying "put that paw down"
5. She likes to give wet willies (licks the inside of your ear...ewwww)
6. Like most yorkies, she's a digger. It is so funny to watch her dig imaginary holes. My bf and I look forward to it and we call each other to come watch when she starts. She just looks so focused and determined...lol

Sasha does something similar when I'm trying to get something from her mouth that shouldn't be in there. It's funny but then it's not because sometimes I'm scared she's going to choke herself trying to push it back in her mouth, chew, or swallow whatever it is. And it's not always food!

Bailey does a lot of the crazy things mentioned..and when he wants picked up he turns his butt to you and as you pick him up he hops a little, like he's giving you a lil help. But I don't get why he turns his butt to you..?

Onni digs before going to sleep. She has to have her bed just so before she can relax. But the cutest thing she does that none of my other dogs have ever done is she runs around with socks or stuffed toys in her mouth like a pacifier. She will fall asleep with them in her mouth. It is so cute!

This is tooooo funny! Loving this thread! Here's my Lily's:

1- She does the tripod thing when see pees- she squats, but her back right leg is always lifted. I had no idea so many other people's babies do this too!

2- When the doorbell rings, she stands up on her back legs to look for whoever is coming in.

3- If hubby and I aren't paying enough attention to her, she growls at us.

4- She rubs her eyes with the sides of her front paws when she's waking up.

5- She growls at the vet when they take her temperature. Not in a menacing way, but more like, "I don't appreciate you sticking that thing up there. Exit only."
