| Behavior/Playtime Problem I've been reading for two days and haven't seen my problem. Abby prefers "tug-o-war" type toys and every time I start playing with her, she starts biting the toy and gets closer and closer to my thumb and then bites my thumb every time! I try to decipline by getting up and turning around and ignoring and telling her no before I get up -- but she turns right around the next time and bites my thumb again. I don't want to stop playing with her altogether. Any suggestions? |

| Roxy does this to me. I prefer to think it is not deliberate, but you know how when you play tug-o-war over mud, as you gain turf, you move your grip up on the rope? I just change my grip to the other side of her toy and let her start working her way back toward me again.

| It is just play and she not learned the rules of th game ends is time out. If her teeth touch you stop playing games over and that is no fun. Just put your hands up and ignore her and she will soon figure out that the game stops every time her teeth come intact with your skin. JL |
