I did a search for Melinda Housh and her name does come up with rescue:

Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Network, Inc. (takes mixes), Web: yorkshireterrierrescue.net,
Janine Huber (President) - 704-880-5223 or 704-838-0232, e-mail: janineyorkie@yahoo.com
LaRue Thorpe - 910-371-0585 or cell 910-612-4224, e-mail: lthorpe@ec.rr.com
Melinda Housh, e-mail: mrshoush13@aol.com

...but if you try to go the website, it's not a valid site

704 is an NC area code.

I didn't come up with anything on Jeana Austin though and this whole thing sounds scarey...

Why won't see listen to you that you didn't give these ppl her information and that you are worried about the girls safety

Well I have talked to a few people on here about this breeder and these dogs and so i really dont know if maybe one of them passed the info on or not but so far everyone is saying they didnt. I dont care if they did as long as they are who they say they are KWIM?

the last thread I made on them a member here wanted Rosie one of her dogs, she wanted to do a YT train. but then changed her mind sying it wasnt a good time for her, she was also from NC.

WAYN.COM - Profile of Melinda Housh (MrsHoush), Greensboro, North Carolina, United States
I also found these so maybe she is legit:

Dog & Cat Rescue List ~ Purebreds & Mix Breeds - Paulding.com
Adopted Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: Bartley: Petfinder
Adopted Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: Ryder: Petfinder

It seems she is from (or fosters for them?) Yorkie Terrier Rescue Network, INC. Maybe you could contact them directly and explain the situation.

I found a website for Lab Rescue of North Carolina, and on the home page it says they are very overwhelmed with the number of labs to be rescued, they can't take them all in. I understand there may be other rescues as well, but it seems odd that if so many labs are needing rescue, that the lab rescue would find a place for yorkies. JMO. Maybe you could try calling someone from this rescue and asking if they know of other rescues in NC? Or if they know those names at least?

Hum thinking maybe this Melinda is the one that told Jeana about them and maybe Jeana is theone with the Lab rescue and Melinda is the one with the Yorkie rescue who told her about them. but still dont know where she got the info cause I never talked to her, I dont know her.

Oh no, I'm so worried about this!
Two of these Yorkies are our Camden's Mom and 1/2 sister. This worries me how this group got all the information!
I hope to goodness this is a legitimate rescue group and not someone that came onto YT and read the info about the dogs and is now taking them!
Hopefully someone on here that deals with rescue or lives in North Carolina might be able to shed some light!

I would like to add my 2 cents here.

Unless I read your post wrong, the reason that the Yorkie rescue is not coming to pick them up is because they are full so the LAB rescue in coming to get them~correct? But when I go to the link for there site, they don't have any dogs even posted for adoptio and they also do not have any dogs on Petfinder either. So what gives????

Yup - Not Good...

....and, I don't know the route, but would a Lab Rescue from NC drive to Ohio to pick up Yorkies????
