| There is HAIR EVERYWHERE!!! I didn't realize how much my dogs DON'T shed until now. I'm babysitting a cavalier king charles spaniel. Sophia is liver and white. She's only been here since 7:15 this morning and there's already a nice layer of white hair all over my maroon rugs. She's a sweet baby, but YUK!!! I take for granted that Otis and Ollie are fairly non shedding! I'll be doing a lot more vacumming over the next 5 days!! Thank God for non-shedding dogs!! Here is Sophia!

| I know exactly what you mean The non-shedding breeds are sooo much easier, plus they don't get that strong "dog smell" the shedding ones with undercoats get. We had a lab for years and years until he died of old age, and every time he was brushed we'd get enough hair to have made a whole extra dog. We have Persian cats as well as Yorkies, and the cats definitely shed enough to make up for the fact that the dogs don't. |

| If it's excess shedding it could be from a lack of Omega fatty acids. Dogs who eat only dog food do seem to shed in excess. A really good brushing twice a day would really help this baby too.

YT 1000 Club Member | My daughter has a siberian husky...I had shedding dogs in the past but nothing compares to a husky in it's blow out phase. Good grief it looks like you started to sheer a sheep and stopped part way thru. Plus she sheds all the time too. But that blow out phase is the worst. Thank goodness it only happens twice a year. BIG YUCK!! |

| I have a chi/spitz mix... she is like 4 dogs in one! She sheds SOOOO bad this time of year, I call her my "tumbleweed" pup. It is a good thing she is only a small dog... She sheds worse than my lab and that is bad enough... I have always loved the cavaliers but heard they are shedders.... sophia is so cute! d

| I do have a german shepherd and a yorkie for the first time . My Karma takes care of Wiz like one of her own she never had ...except when she has her ball or a treat she wants . If you love pets , dogs or cats , then you accept the hair with a smile and a good vacuum ...and I do . One they are gone from your life , you even tend to miss all that hair . |

| My mum has two king charles spaniels and they love to curl up on laps. When i get up to leave I have to remove ten ton of white hair from my jumper or trousers. She also has a golden retriever who sheds alot too. He is thirteen now and seems to be getting smellier with ageHe's the most loving dog ever though so we let him off! xxx

| I have a Jack Russell and was always telling people that she does'nt shed!...Well, a few weeks ago I decided to shampoo my carpets..so I borrowed a friends carpet cleaner..after I was done I cleaned it all up and sent it back to my friend...Her husband called and wanted to know if I wanted my other dog back..!!..????... LOL He had turned the cleaner over and pulled a ball of white hair out...He said it looked like awhole another dog!...Said he could have his wife knit me a fur coat!!..So, I guess my darling Jack (Lisa) does shed...
