| uh oh what do i do I completely forgot Mya had a bath this morning and tonight it was time for her flea medicine and i put it on her before i remembered! Is that bad? will it not work? should i rinse it??? what do i do!?

| It's OK to put it on after the bath. I always do that. That way they have a few days before their next bath and the flea prevenative has time to work. At least I think it's ok...have you heard otherwise?

| yea i do the same thing i give chloe a bath then the next day i put on her flea medicine i assume it only messes up the medicine if you bathe her after |

| well it says not to bathe them 48 hours before or after because it travels through the oils and baths wash it away

| you are supose to wait 3 days before putting it on there... if you are using something from walmart it may make them really sick... it happened to my henry... i didnt know.... he got REALLY sick foaming at the mouth and thowing up.. I rinsed him off and he got better.. vet said between the flea soap and the flea stuff, it ODed him... i was using sergents or something.. NEVER again!! vet said that stuff is BAD!!!! Frontline plus all the way!!! |

| what kind of shampoo would you suggest? I have been using a oatmeal shampoo from walmart.... I would like something that makes his hair softer!! He gets a bath every week! |

| The Frontline and Advantage recommends a mild oatmeal and aloe shampoo for dogs. If you are sure of the shampoo you are using you can call their customer service number and ask them if what you are using is ok. Our groomer has been using Coat Handler on my dogs and it makes their coats really clean and soft. I know it is ok's for topical flea treatments because I checked. Buddy Wash is also ok and is a good one for their coats.
