| Whining and Crates Hi guys! so yesterday it was no problem getting Charlie into his crate, he practically went it and dozed off without waking up or whining. TONIGHT is a different story. I put him in there around 10 and he just kept wimpering and whining!! I ignored him for a little...but I felt really bad so I thought maybe he was not tired. So i took him out and played with him for a little and then just put him in again, and after like 2-3 mins of whining in the crate, he finally stopped. When I do put him in the crate and he whines...should I just ignore him? I don't want him to get into the habit of sleeping in my bed or me having to be by his crate the whole night! Am i doing something wrong?? Advice would be appreciated |

| I don't think you're doing anything wrong. It takes them awhile to get used to their crate. If he wines, take him to go potty. Then take him back inside & put him back into the crate. He'll get used to it eventually. It just takes time ... & a lot of patience!
