| Will your babies go in a pool? I bought a baby pool, but mine never would go in it, until today. I'd put them in, they'd jump right back out. My husband and I were sitting on the deck of our regular pool today, I looked down, and our youngest was standing in the baby pool. I tapped the hubby on the leg and was like, "Look, look, LOOK. Jillan is in the POOL!" All the other dogs were staring at her, so we sat there quietly to see if they'd follow her in. One came to get a drink, but none of them got in. She didn't seem to mind having it to herself, and afterward she rolled around in it and tried to paddle a bit. (There's not enough water in it to actually swim.) Do any of you have Yorkies who will go in a pool on their own, or are mine just being weird? |

| Winston has never even seen a pool, but I have seen others that do get in pools and some actually do swim.

| I have a boy, 5 yrs old now, who LOVES going into the lake with us. He enjoys floating around with one of us - - and will just jump in and swim to the shore if he wants to. Won't chase his toys in tho; will run to the edge and bark at it. BUT if we're in the water, he's in the water! = ) |

| ESP I just bought a baby pool for my Katy this weekend. So far she has only taken a drink and looked interested when I splash the water. I hope she will learn to use it. I thought it would help to cool her off - it's so hot here. I did put her feet in it to rinse them off and she didn't seemed to mind. |

| Both of mine will go in the pool if I'm in there. Sometime they will just get on the raft and float around. They swim very well but the pool has a ladder not steps so someone has to keep an eye on them. By the way the pool is not in my yard, it's at my daughter's-they have a baby pool at my house and run in and out of it all the time. Bubba likes to lay in it with his hair floating around him

| My Sparkie LOVES the water. We have a hot tub that we just use as a pool for the grandkids... and baby Sparkie. She absolutely goes nuts when the top is taken off, can't wait to get it. We really have to watch her when the kids get done so she doesn't go in alone. It so much fun to watch her. We even had a pool party for her 1st birthday on 6/25/08. |
