| Height Question... Thank you for checking out my thread! Question? At what age do you feel Yorkies reach their adult Height and Weight? My girl is nearing a year old and is VERY short. Or I should say - I think she is very short. Im hoping to know by the end of the thread if she is going to be this short always? She's almost 6 inches at her front and back legs to floor. And 16 inches Long - from tip of nose to tip of tail (thats odd lol). She is 3.8 -4 pds or so (havent weighed her in a few weeks). Sound good for topping out size - health wise? Or - nah - she'll grow much more being under a yr? I know its a prediction - but I would still like to hear yours! Maybe my girl looks a lot like your baby? Im just anxious to peek into her future! Here is an image I shot (looks like with my cell - looks horrid). But it will give you an idea of her physic. Thanks in advance for your predictions! |

| I think they are usually done growing at around a year, but it really just depends on the dog. I know some YT yorkies have stopped growing at 6 months, and some take longer. In my situation, Layla was 5.5 lbs at 10 months and had a big growth spurt and is currently 9.4 lbs (although still a tiny bit overweight!) I'm not sure what size your girl will turn out, but I do know she's absolutely adorable!!!

| I would think that she's done growing at a yr, but I've heard that some do continue to grow a bit after that. I really can't say personally because my yorkies are nearly 7 months, so I'm not sure what she's going to do and we got Daisy when she was 2 yrs old. BTW, your little one is adorable! She looks like she's ordering a cheeseburger
