Donating YT 1000 Club Member | She Did Something New...... We have only had our 4 year old adopted Yorkie since June 28th, as a rule she doesn't do anything we don't coax her into and then sometimes she still won't do much but eat, sleep and chase squirrels in the back yard. Yesterday I had tuna for lunch, the first time we've had tuna since we got her. She usually pays no attention to people food at all. She was on her hind legs begging while I was making it! I thought she wanted one of her doggie animal crackers so I gave her one and she ran off with it. I rinsed the can and put it in the recycling bag which she has never touched. I went into the office and heard rustling in the bag and thought it was the cat. I go into the kitchen and the bag is collapesd on one side and my Yorkie is sitting in the livingroom with the tuna can! Do any of your Yorkies like Tuna??? I asked the vet thinking the breeder she came from may have fed it to them. She said she didn't think so and a tiny bit wouldn't hurt her, more may uspset her tummy. I said she didn't get any because I'd rinsed the can. It was trash day so I took the can out to be picked up. I saw her check the recycling bag again for the can a little later. I find it very strange. |

| Awww she likes tuna. My babes eat anything. They are quite the beggars and are so good at it. They eat their dog food all day but at supper time they are right there begging. It is cute. We don't mind it. Whenever someone goes in the kitchen they follow. They could be dead asleep and will wake up and run into the kitchen if someone is in there. Too funny.

| It's funny how they have particular tastes just like we do. Annie, who was an absolute food fiend, would eat anything you gave her except banana. It was never any problem giving her medicine she'd take it like candy and ask for more. But offer her a bite of banana and she would actually send you death daggers with her eyes. Boo is extremely picky and must study on the offered tidbit quite some time before deciding if he wanted it. Use to drive Annie crazy. And often she just couldn't stand it any longer and would rush in and snatch the food right out from under Boo's nose. The look on Boo's face was priceless. "Momma! Did you see what she did!!" Oh, I miss that little munchkin.

| Tuna Bella our little furbaby loves tuna. One day while making it she ran into the kitchen and was begging, so I gave ger a small amount and she begged for more. So I gave her a few more small bits, now every time I make tuna she comes running in the kitchen. And she is an extremely picky eater to say the least. She absolutely refuses to eat any kind of moist dog food and only certain pieces of her dry. I am actually thinking of going to my local Pet Supply store and trying Nature Valley Raw, to see if she will eat that. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | So Yorkies like tuna.....who knew???? Hubby made me promise not to feed this dog people food since our last dog was such a terrible begger. I have stuck to the rules but I have caught him giving her tidbits. So from now on maybe I'll just slip her a little tuna. Fair is fair right? |

| Hubbies are notorious for saying not to do something and they turn right around and do it. Mine said the same thing and he shares EVERYTHING with the two of them now.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My husband has never shown intrest in any dog we've ever had like he does this one. He even covers her with his t-shirt at night incase she might be cold. This is the first dog he has let sleep in our bed, all others were kenneled at night in the kitchen. What a tough guy.....NOT! |

Merricks Dog Food makes a dry dog food called Campfire Trout. It smells very fishy. Maybe you could try some of that if she likes tuna. That way you could continue to feed her dog food and not people food. Merrick Pet Foods - Dry Dog Food
