| yorkie on the kitchen table My 8 month old yorkie has just started climbing on top of everything. By everything, I mean the kitchen table, the bathroom sink, the back of the toilet. This has just started within the pas week or two and I have no idea why he is doing it. There is no food, etc to tempt him. You will just look up and he has climbed on top of the tables. It is like he thinks he is a cat. He is my first small dog. Any ideas on what I should do? Does anyone else have this problem???

| Yep, my Biewer girl...Megan...does that. The first time I saw her there I turned around and thought boy, isn't she beautiful laying there (and then it hit me) on my dining room table! She only does it once in a while...thank goodness! |

| on the table we don't eat there either, but I am so scared he is going to jump down and fall. The bathroom sink really made me laugh. I just don't know what has gotten into him. I have told him he can't watch anymore of the olympics, he seems to be learning stunts from them.

| Yup, Tucker does this! One of our chairs doesn't push all the way in for some reason and so we have to keep it away from the table a few feet (think in the middle of the kitchen) so he doesn't get up there. He just needs the tiniest of spaces and up he goes. We tell him "No!" and he looks all guilty when we catch him but it doesn't stop him.

| Duke does it too. At my parents, he climbs onto the kitchen table to see out the window and he gets on the coffee table in the living room because my dad always seems to leave food there from when he eats. At our old place he would sit on the back of the couch so he could see out the window. My parents don't eat on the kitchen table so I never worried about it, he uses the chairs to get on top of it. To get yours to stop getting on the table you could try pulling the chairs away from it. The bathroom counter I can't explain haha

| olympic dogs I won't worry then. I just pick him up to get him down. It is actually funny and I need to just get a picture. No matter what I do he finds a way up on top. I swear he is a cat...

| I think it's just part of being an agile, tiny dog. Chewie does the same thing. I won't even go into how he's messed up my end tables by jumping from the couch onto them. He walks along the top of the couch behind our heads. We have a little window/opening that looks into the kitchen from the living room and it has a overhanging area to sit things on. He's up there constantly. Our apartment is small so we can only move the furniture around so much. But...I feel, ya

| You can definitely come here and ask anything! Not everyone has an answer, but at least a few people do and everyone is willing to lend advice either way

| I think it is just part of being a yorkie. They scare me to death. I am so afraid Kayla will get hurt. Its like she has no fear. I told her today to just wait until your daddy gets home. SHe just looks at me like, so what??? I'm daddy's little girl. Can absolutely get by with anything and he doesn't see it. |
