| Monster This doesn't look like the face of a monster does it.......well let me tell you about the past 24 hours. Miss Maya wakes me up at 2:30 AM every morning for potty. I'm tired but don't mind as I know it will be better some day. She promptly goes back to sleep, I do not.......then this morning about 1 1/2 hours later, she wakes up. waddles to the foot of the bed and pees/ Next up is the fact that when I got home this evening, she had somehow SCALED the baby gate (it was perfectly sound and still in place across the door frame), and was waiting on me, out free in the house when I arrived home. She also had moved the pee pad and gone potty on THE FLOOR again. Now what do I do about the fact that this little terror can climb the darn baby gate. The potty training issues I hope will eventually resolve like Mika, and while I am at it, I want my MIKA BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Oh Hon, I feel yr pain & I know u r so stressed out right now....you need some sleep. If I were you......I'd give that little Stinker "Maya" to me!! I promise to give her back when I turn her into a little Angel! Honestly, I was going to say to confine her for a while, but if she is climbing the gate....you may not have much choice but to confine her in a crate.....just til she can be trusted. ps. offer is always open Good Luck!

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | I'm glad I did make you Laugh, but OMG....I'm coming over ......how long will it take me to drive? Seriously, throwing up as soon as you put her in the crate?? The only thing is, if she was out all afternoon on her own, make sure she hasn't chewed on something, or gotten into something.

I was worried ,as she had just come to my home and wasn't eating too well yet, and I thought she might go hypoglycemic and croak on me or something. She has me licked.

| Hi, I am assuming you have a puppy on your hands.... Yes they are a lot of work and can be very demanding at times. These little guys are like little children. They can't be ignored, and will try our patience! I am lucky Suzi has never peed on the bed.... However, she did poop on my bedroom carpet last night.. But, My feeling is that it just comes with owning a pup.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | When I brought Bella home, I remember driving alone & Bella was in a carrier beside me. She never attempted to get out. Only kept her eye on me the whole time. Of course, I mean she was taken away from her real Mommy & then from her brothers/sisters. So, when I put her in the crate, I would make sure I was in full view at all times. At nite, I put the crate right beside me at the bed. I would even sometimes put my hand inside the crate to touch her so she would fall asleep. As long as she could see me, she seemed satisfied. Yorkies just want to be near you at all times. Especially, if you are gone @work....she's panicking that you are leaving again. I know it's tough in the beginning, but in time, it will get better.

| I am convinced that Yorkies are monsters But I love mine anyway and you made me laugh just the same. I had to resort to an Xpen- with the lid and a small crate attached to the side so he could sleep in it and play and poop in the xpen when we were not home. We had to fasten the lid to the xpen down to the sides so that it would not come up because he could get it open. Now I am talking about a 5 pound MONSTER of LOVE He would but his head on top of the xpen until I thought he would get brain damage. Fortunately I don't think he does because he is fine... But what a RIOT We had to take a piece of plywood and put lynoleum on it and then put plastic down over the rug and the plywood then the xpen etc. We called it his "condo" Since summer has come we have taken it down But we are going to put it back up because he is not taking to going out in the rain to do his business. I am sick of that issue. Good Luck. I would rather have the Xpen than 2 baby gates and take the chance of him falling and getting hurt especially if no one is home. I actually saw Cooper CLIMB the Wire. Cher

| I have 2 different ideas that just might work for your little monster. easiest~ What if you put something on the gate that made a noise when she tried to scale the fence? little more time, money and effort but I think this would really work for your aborable sweet monster Or you could attach something to the side he is climbing that would not allow her any grip ie a piece of plexiglass and zip ties so that he can see through but doesn't have anything to climb. You can go to Home Depot or Ace Hardware and they will cut it to the dimension of your gate, drill several holes and attach with zip ties. She will not be able to get over it until she can fly or pull over a chair. The potty will come in time. Take it one step at a time or you will go crazy! BTW~that cute little face!

| You Just Crack Me up!!!!! Believe me there are days he should be. But his condo is no longer even up. that was when he was a puppy. Well... He still is a Puppy at 7 months but we have gotten to know each other and have a better understanding of eachother's needs. Human VS Canine. But You did make my evening..... "The Slammer" Next time he is bad I will have to threaten him with that....
