| They didn't pull her teeth!!! I went and got my 7 montth old Ella spayed last tuesday and was told that they would pull her teeth while she was under anesthsia. Turns out that they didn't pull them because her adult canines were not in far enough and they didn't want to damage her new teeth. Well, now they want to put her under again to do it next week...and I think they're full of crap! I'm mad my dog is being anesthetized again...isn't that bad!!! I'm really frustrated and worried about it. I'd love some support....Thanx |

| I realize that things can happen overnight but what is the difference with doing them this week versus next week?!!!! Or why didn't they wait to spay her next week? I would be upset too. How much do you like your vet? I think I might be shopping around for a new one.

| Yea this vet is really starting to piss me off. Today my mom went to get her dogs shots and I took Ella along because I wanted him to look at her stitches becuase they looked a little pink. I also mentioned to him that I think she may have an ear infection and he by all means avoided and would not look at it becuase he knows he wont charge me for it because hes only charging my mom for her stuff. He told me he'll just look at it when I come next week for her teeth and her stich removal. What a jerk!!! I'm very upset and I definitely think I'm switching. This guy is really cheap but it's not worth my gut feeling. |

Even letting the not pulling the teeth go, post-op care is part of the price. I had Ellie's incision looked at twice because I was concerned and there was no charge and they fit her in between other patients.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would find a new vet. Since your baby is only 7 months could you wait a couple more monthe and see if any of the baby teeth come out on their own? Roxie is 10 months and just last week I was able to wiggle to loose baby teeth out.

| Ditto! I wouldn't put her through that again so soon. Give her a little more time and see if they come out on their own.

| Well he did fit me in when my mom had an appointment to look at my Ellas incision...but because he wasnt charging me anything he just WOULD NOT pick up the scope that was right next to him!!! He just said "well..I'll look at it next week when you come back" because I'm coming back for her teeth pull and stith removal. It would have been two seconds of his time but I think he wouldn't do it so he can add it to the list of things he did next week and charge me. |

| This sounds like one of those vets that wouldn't go the extra mile if you got into an emergency or whatever. I have a very expensive vet and I complain to him about the prices but he is veeeeeeeeery good and came in during the SuperBowl when my dogs ate an overdose of Remedel. He has met me a few other times too, once when one played with a toad and went into shock. This stuff one can't protect against. So...He is worth the expense. Little dogs need emergency care more than big dogs and that is a big deal for me with a vet. Your's does not seem to put your loved one's health first. Get thee to another vet I say! |

| My biggest fear is that these new teeth won't grow in right because the other are in the way...so I'm scared to wait. Plus I have to go back next week for the stitches to be removed. This guy wont even fax prescriptions to online places you order from. They INSIST you buy from them. It's rediculous. They try to talk you into getting their stuff sooo hard. I find it rude. Guess u get what you pay for. |

I don't think that's a concern really. Abby has a total of 8 canines and the vet said not to worry about it yet.
