| jumping the gate I have my 5 month old gated in a small area of the house when I am home for successful potty training. All the sudden she has been jumping to thevtop of the gates and pulling herself over! She has run upstairs to poop and to nap on my bed! I have her trained to use pet stairs to the couch. I did not think they could jump that high and I know it is bad for her knees, etc. Just curious if this is an unusually high jumping dog? Are agility contests in my future:•) Bonnie and Cocoa |

| Holly was an athlete from day one. She jumps up on the couch bypassing the doggie steps. She jumps up onto the coffee table. No standard ex-pen can contain her. Even one 30" high she will climb right out of unless there is a top on it. Most recently I bought a very large pet tent with mesh sides. It has a zip up closure. In two days she figured out how to unzip the thing. I finally have it rigged where she can't.

| Hmm, this concerns me. We have been using a large suitcase in the hallway to keep Pippin out of the bedroom and the catbox, but he can now jump over it. We were going to invest in a nice gate, but if he might be able to jump that too I'm not sure I want to spend the money. Whatever we get, the cats need to be able to cross the barrier but Pippin needs to stay out.
