| I use a towel to blot up all the pee I can and then scrub the spot with laundry soap and water. It has always worked for me!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Nature's Miracle is an "enzyme" cleaner that has bacteria in it that eat the protein that cause the urine odor, and keeps the dog from coming back to the spot. If used soon enough, it gets out the stain as well, but other products work better at getting stains out. My favorite is Spot Shot in the aerosol can. The Spot Shot that comes in the can is better than the kind that comes in a bottle, and made especially for stains. Be careful not to use anything that will "set" the stain such as hot water. I've never found anything that Spot Shot wouldn't remove, except tar and Goop works for that. When using Nature's Miracle, I would spray than blot up moisture by standing on a towel, then thoroughly spray area again, and let dry naturally. The enzymes in the cleaner need time to "eat" the protein. This usually prevents any stains. Laundry soap is hard to rince from carpets and can cause the area to attact dirt, and look dirty sooner.
