| Hair color? Well I was just wondering, if anyone knew what color Cookie's hair would be when she gets older! Shes 3 months and the hair JUST on her head (like neck up) has black tips and blond roots. Will her head be blond when she is older? Our breeder told us that it would. But the ends of her hair (like half) are black! I am confused

| Katie my 15 month old was just like that at 4.1/2 months when we got her. She's a beautiful blonde head now. Suzi at 14 weeks is showing signs that she will have a blonde head too. I'm told all Yorkie babies are black and tan to begin with, until they get their adult coats. I think it's lovely to watch them grow and guess how they will turn out. Hugs Shirl x x

| Sammy is 16 months old and still has black hair. Expect fo his legs (tan) and head (gray) and a little on his hind legs/butt, he is black all over. Is this normal? I also saw a yorkie in the pet store yuesterday and the hair was so smooth, OK granted they had just groomed her, but when sammy's hair was long, it wasn't thin like the yorkies I've seen, it was and still is real thick, and kinda wavy i think, even if I blow dry it. |

| She will have a beautiful blond head. The dark color you see at the end of her hair, is what has already grown out.

Katie is 6 yrs. old and her coat is also still black and tan and very straight. They will keep you guessing about the coat color.
