| Is He Unusual or Is It Me??? I always thought Yorkies or in our case Yorkiepoos were quiet lap dogs but my Porkie never stops or so it seems He is always running at top speed and likes nothing better than to dig up the backyard while chewing whatever he can find at the same time! I can't tell you what it's like trying to clean his face or groom him...it's all really funny Also does anyone have any advice about getting rid of the tear stains...I have heard about Angel Eyes but don't know anyone who has used it. Thanks

| Quiet lap dogs? They are terriers. Most of them aren't lap dogs unless they're tired! It really depends on their personality. Some are more laid back than others. I have never needed to use anything more than a warm washcloth to clean their eyes. Do it every morning. Anyway, he isn't unusual, just the usual wild yorkie. The digging is something they usually grow out of. Thank goodness.

YT 1000 Club Member | I think it's all definately temperment and spirit. You have a high spirited little one. Roxie did a little digging when she was younger but not anymore. My brother has 2 yorkie-poo's and one likes to dig. He came up with a sollution that seems to work. When he digs a hole, scoop some of his poop and put it in the hole then cover it back up with dirt. They'll never dig in the same spot again! I laughed so hard when I heard this but I tried it with my grandfurbaby (he's 54 lb's at 6 months old) and it worked. Hasn't stopped him entirely but they don't dig as much or in the same place. Good fertilizer too! |

| Tink is a Yorkiepoo. She never stops! She'll be 2 in September and other than when she was desperately ill, she goes 18 hrs a day - the rest, we sleep. She has slowed down a teeney tiney bit, but not much. |

| Hahaha that is funny! Even though they're small dogs, Yorkies are not *usually* lap dogs. They're terriers!! Terriers do not like to just lay on laps all day. Sorry you thought that when you got him. The only time my baby likes to lay w/ me is when it's time to sleep (or if I make him! ).

| Baxter is 7 lbs of WILD! He is no lap dog. I had a pom that was like having a stuffed animal. He was such a lap dog. Baxter is a tasmanian devil and if I had waited 2 more weeks to name him he would have been named Taz. The good thing is I am no longer a couch potato. Oh the walks we take. |

| Is he unusual or is it me...........Angel Eyes I have been using angel eyes for 6 weeks now and it really does work. I bought the "kit" that has the powder that you sprinkle on their food each day and the liquid cleaner that you clean the stains with each day. I didn't know anyone that had used this before and I was very skeptical at first but now I am a believer. They say to cut the stained hair off but I didn't....My little one is 9 months old and I really am sold on that product. This is the only yorkie that I have ever had that problem .....I am anxious to see when I stop using this (when I run out) what will happen. So far I am still using the first "kit" I bought. |

| I use Angel Eyes for my white Pommie but not my Yorkies. I works wonders on him. There have been very negative reviews on YT concerning Angel Eyes. It is said that there is a small amount of antibiotics in it. My dd who is a pharmacy student looked at the bottle and said she didn't see any ingredients that were antibiotics. Don't know if she knows what she is talking about, though. For my Yorkies I just use an the comb part of an eye-brow brush and comb the gunk out every night. Also wipe with water. I think there is another product that some YTers have tried but not sure what it is called. Joanne

| I have heard to much about Angel Eyes that I don't know what to think. I would like not to use it but Porkie is starting to look like a red racoon Sounds like a great idea, Joanne, but then again I would have to find a way to get him to stay still long enough for me to use the brush on him. I've only been trying for 4 months now and he's the one that winning!
