Senior Yorkie Talker | Where do you take your babies? I was just trying to find new places to take Hank! My 4 month old yorkie poo. Often, I take him to a local outdoor mall, and he loves it. I have really been working on making sure he is very well socialized not only to diff ppl, but also different environments. Anyway, i was wondering what were some of you guys' favorite place to take your babies! |

| When Franklin was younger and lighter I took him almost everywhere with me! He came to the mall, to the grocery store.. etc. I never took him to places where he'd have to stay in his carrier for too long though (like restaurants or the movies). Of course now he's extremely heavy so we don't go many places unless he is specifically allowed!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I do a dog blog for my newspaper, and one of the first things people asked about was just that. Where can we take our dogs to get socialized? In our town, there are no fenced dog parks. So a bunch of us got together and started meeting up at local ball parks when they're not being used by kids. We've been doing it for about 9 months now, and it's worked out wonderfully. We had a few problems in the beginning with aggressive dogs, but all the owners were diligent about intervening when it got out of hand. Now, all the dogs know each other and there are rarely any problems. We've since started a little-dog meetup for dogs 20 pounds and under. That's working out great too.
