| Aimee's birthday I just wanted to say that today is Aimee's 4month birthday. We went to the vet yesterday for shots (rabies) but she didn't even flinch. She weighs 4lbs. Her sister Olivia (2yrs) went along just for company and weighted 4.5 lbs. The vet wants to spay Aimee next month. I am torn. My sister says she wants me to breed Aimee so she can have a puppy but I am torn. I have never done that before and am very scared that something would happen to Aimee or the puppies. Advise? Where would I even find a daddy? I don't want to disappoint my sister but ---- Anyway Happy Birthday Aimee. |

| AWWW! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Rabies shots-great. I couldn't remember when they got them. I didn't realize it was 4 months. That means Chloe's shots she is going in for are rabies .

| Happy 4 month Birthday Aimee! And so glad to hear there was no reaction to the rabies shot... Regarding breeding...I would do as much research as you can about breeding. I personally think there are more negative things that can happen then positive with just breeding as a hobby or for one or two pups, etc. I am in no way trying to "down" breeding but just read all you can about all that is involved.

| Happy Birthday! I know it sounds simple to just let your dog breed with another Yorkie and then in a little while you'll have a couple of sweet little puppies. But I think if you do even a small amount of research, you'll change your mind. I think there is a lot of things that can go terribly wrong. There are people who devote their lives to developing the best Yorkies possible. They breed out genetic defects.

| It took me years of research before I began breeding and for a pet, it's not worth the risk. Help your sister find a good breeder and get her own pup to love. I would also ask your vet to wait 'til she's 6 months to spay. |
