| Not sure what happened to my post... I have this strange quick reply message in place of my post. Sorry I'll try to remember what I originally said. ************************* I am not sure if anyone reading this knows my story. But just over a month ago I lost my dear John Wayne to a tragic accident. About 2 weeks following my family and I made the decision to get another furbaby. When we brought Monty home something just didnt seem right. He didn't want to eat or drink, at all. He did nothing but sleep. He didn't play or even want to be a part of our family. Which was totally different from JW. JW chose us as his family within a day. So I took Monty to the vet the day after we got him to find out that he was underweight and he also had a severe case of ear mites. Shortly after that our vet was concerned that he may have a liver shunt. Thank goodness, the tests for the liver shunt came back negative. He did finally get over the ear mites and is starting to put on some weight. Now to the awesome part... he is finally fitting in with the family. He loves to play. He is crazy! He cuddles with us now too. He seems to be adjusting nice. But he plays more than he sleeps and seems so happy. He is still not sure about traveling to visit friends and family. He doesnt adjust to any type of change. But hopefully, in time, he will adjust. We like to take our furbaby everywhere. I havent been on Yorkie Talk in a while and wanted to give everyone an update. A lot of fellow Yorkie Talkers have helped me through the loss of JW and the chaos of worring about Monty. We built a wonderful memorial for John Wayne. I'll get some pics posted shortly. I'll also get some new pics of Monty. When he is awake he moves to fast for pictures and when he is sleeping it is hard to get a good shot. One of these days I'll get some good ones to post. But for all that have helped me I want to say "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart!
