| LOL Bailey likes the mop to kill and eat. He runs at it, attacks it, running off then slowly prowling back again to pounce on it and kill it making sure it is dead, god forbid if the mop should be alive and move again lol. It does drive me mad too i have a water bottle ready so when he runs over and trys to kill the mop i shout ''NO'' and use a little water to scare him. seems to be workin he looks at me now as if to say '' i know your gonna get me with water but i wanna kill it mummy'' lol

| When I first got Jamie he barked and jumped at the broom but I've consistently corrected him. Now when I sweep or mop or vacuum he gets up on the couch a takes a nap. You can try squirting him with a spray bottle or shaking a can of pennies anytime he starts the behavior. Be sure and step between him and the broom and let him know that its your property and he can't touch it or bark at it. When he is acting appropriately be sure and remember to give lots of praise!

| "Shark" oh I mean Roxy....circles the vacuum barking and biting at the cord. If the vacuum is off and just standing there, "the shark" just keeps circling and circling it...waiting to go in for the kill. |

| Ha-ha! Both Muffin and Kacee would catch a ride on the broom anytime I tried to sweep up the patio when they were puppies. Now, Kacee is more interested in what I have swept into the pile than in the broom.

| This one cracked me up.. Leo lays on the sofa when we do house work so I can't share anything funny... but the MINUTE the kids get in bed he is up there and trying to eat them under the covers... and if I take a bath before his bedtime he will bark at me and whine then lick my fingers and try to pull them out of the tub. I think maybe he is thinking I"m gonna drown!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I confess to sweeping my floor with a Yorkie. It's similar to using a dust mop.

| wookie tried to attack our vacuum cleaner and in the process knocked over a can of compressed air ( the kinds you clean your keyboards and etc with ) a little air was let out and he totally went nuts. he was shaking and started wigging his butt against the ground...it was so hilarious..i know its wrong to laugh but it was so funny. so now everytime i put out the "can of impending doom" he immediately stiffens and circles it...but hes about halfway across the room while doing so.. ah the joys of a yorkie. so many funny moments. |

My Sassy is afraid of the broom and the vacuum cleaner and just goes to another room when they are employed. The canned air is what I use for the obsessive, out of control attack/barking at the front door when the doorbell rings. I never do it in her face (!) but very near to her. It has helped this problem tremendously! | |

| My goofy girl runs for cover as soon as the Vaccum is turned on... However the broom is a different story She grabs, growls, and won't let go .... It is very funny.. I watched the dog wisper, and he had a few dogs that were always going nuts with the broom. What he did was have the broom and step forward towards the dog... He made a swoosh sound, and the dog would back down. He said it is a dominance thing. I decided to give it a try, sure enough it worked! I could not believe it ! Suzi backed off and just laid there . No more broom attack. It was so easy. I did not even have to make a sound. She tried it about twice, then quit going after the broom in one training.
