| 2 small 2 leave Mom !!!! I posted last week about a local pet store having a litter of Yorkies in a back room. I couldn't find the thread to continue it so heres the newest. Last week I was told the litter was to young to sell. But they would be ok in about a week. My curiousity got the best of me and I stopped again yesterday. The puppy room cages were filled with all kinds of babies. There was a young clerk that came to the room as soon as she saw me there. She proceded to tell me all the pups had spent all day on a plane so they couldnt be handled. She told me they came from Kansas. I asked about the Yorkies and was told they were sick!!! I asked what was wrong with them. The clerk told me the woman that sold then to the pet store said they were older then they really were ,so they needed to be fed special formula until they were bigger.. I find myself worrying abut these little babies... It seem so cruel to take the babies away from the mother to young.. |

| Greedy blood sucking money making monster's don't care one bit about the welfare of the pups once the cash hits the palm of their hand! I honestly don't know how they put their heads down on their pillow everynight!

| pups You might check your state and county laws regarding animals. Many states say puppies may not be separated from the dam until 8 weeks. Turn them in to animal control...Humane Society.. |

| I remember your original post. Glad to be hearing an update on the pups. I too think you should file a complaint against them. I mean, special formula? How young are these babies exactly?! I am afraid to know. Probably 5 weeks or something. |

| I dont know how young they are. My conversation I had with the young girl seemed to come to a dead end after she told me about the special formula.I did send an e-mail to our local SPCA asking for information about who to contact and what the issue is. If they havent replied by the time I get home from work today I will call around and see what I can come up.. It really bothers me to think about these poor little things.. Last night I was wondering about what they do with them at closing time??? The thought that they may be just left there till the next day at opening time really disturbs me. |

| This is so sad. I didn't see your other post, but this is horrible. Hopefully the people who sold the store the pups get caught and shut down. That is so cruel to do. I just can't believe some people.
