Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Yorkies Taking Over... I really think my girls have taken over my life...I used to love to go out and spend time with my boyfriend and some friends...doing normal "kid" stuff..the movies, mall, etc...but now that I have two wonderful little girls I seem to never want to leave them...I go to class and then always want to come home and play with them...I think this is starting to really fustrate my boyfriend but my opinion is if you love me, then you love my girls!! He still wants to go out all the time and I almost always say no...I would much rather stay and hang out with my girls...they are more fun at times!!! I don't have to worry about anything with them, and they always have love for me...I am the only person in the world to them!! I would not change my behavior for anyone...my girls are my world and you can either join me or not!!!

| I feel the same way! My boyfriend and I use to love to do random things, like take a trip to the beach, go to the movies all that fun stuff.. But ever since we got our 3 bears, our life has changed.. for the better of course. Although we never do the things we used to.. we love spending time with our kids! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | You've been YORKED - get used to it ! There is no cure. and you're right - we are their world - and I know my girls are MY world - I totally understand. Others may not but at least you are handling it and can say you won't change your behavior for anyone - I know people that would...I run my whole life around the girls - I guess I'm kind of glad I didn't have yorkies in my 20's ....I'd have missed a TON of partying !

| I'll join you My life is very different since I got my babies! I used to be the party girl, club hopping, always out and about until all hours of the night. Always the single girl with no responsibility then BAM! single mom! I always turn down plans to stay home with Simon and Hallie and I figure if I ever meet a man, he better love them as much as I do or he is not worth my time! |

| That's life with Yorkies! Your not strange, I think that a lot of us feel the same, how could you not have fun with Yorkies? HUH? They're a lot more fun then tv by a long shot! Villette, just think of how many of those nasty headaches you wouldn't of have had after those parties if you only had your girls then?, LOL!...

| I am a mom of four children and then everyone started growing up on me.. Long gone are the days of Ninja Turtles and cabbage patch dolls... I loved, loved, loved being Mom and taking the children everywhere.. People use to think I was nuts when I would take all 4 children grocery shopping with me.. But I liked having them around.. Now, everyone is growing up on me and oh that empty nest.... Thankfully... I have my darling Yorkies... and now it is they who go almost everywhere with me.. I still have 2 1/2 children at home with me but they are starting to do their own things.. Yorkies have become my babies.. I'm just glad they never really grow up.. LOL |
