| And then...it happened... Marley has been with us for a tad over a month..(As you will remember she is a puppy mill rescue.) She did not know about toys or petting or playing or anything social at all. This morning as Im getting ready for work, I noticed she was not around. I said to Bob..."Go find Marley". He went outside the doggie door into our back yard and rounded her up and they came into the house. Bob seemed to be upset with her because Mommy had to ask where Marley was. (Of course I am assuming you all know EXACTLY what Im talking about that I can read their minds. lol) so he starting fake biting her front legs..she backed up and kept backing up and finally she did it!! She PLAYED!!! She stood up on her back legs and batted his head and then played and chased around the house and fake bit and jumped and romped and played!! I just stood there looking and smiling and feeling like I was witnessing a rebirth!!! I am so happy!!!! I was almost late for work because I just didnt want to leave.... Time and patience I think is the key and you never know what just might happen....Im so happy today!! |

| Oh that is the best news I have heard all week! I haven't been feeling well and the way my boyfriens noticed was, that I had not been giving him all the updates on the rescues over dinner. I am so happy to hear about Marley! My heart is soaring!
