| Getting Spayed tomorrow I just wanted to ask for all of your prayers, our little Darla will be going to the vet at 8:30 in the morning. She`ll be getting spayed & several baby teeth pulled!!! Also she`s had some bladder trouble. They`re going to take a sterile sample of pee-pee from her bladder. She`s been on 2 different anti. in the last month for blood in her pee-pee. The vet is gonna check her bladder while she is asleep. He was gonna try to get the pee-pee with a needle while she is awake, but since she probably won`t be still, we think it`s a better idea to do it while she`s asleep. Please send some prayers up that everything is A-OK. Thank You sooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!! |

| It`s 6:18 a.m. here, she goes in at 8:30 a.m. It was so hard not feeding her after 8p.m. last night!!! She wanted to eat. I don`t know exactly what time they`ll do the spaying. Hope it`s not long after she gets there!! She`ll be starving.Poor little babies they don`t have a clue that they are going to have surgery & be in pain. |

| I just read this and hope everything is going well for you and Darla. Are you taking her home or keeping her there?

| We just got Darla from the vet. & he said everything went fine!! Thank you soo much for the prayers!! The results from the urine culture will not be back for 5-7 days. Her incision is almost 1 inch larger than the normal spay incision, b/c he had to get to her bladder. Poor little baby!!! She`s just laying down taking it easy for right now. They told me that she could eat a little at a time if she wanted to, she ate about 5 kibbles. |

| I'm sending prayers for your little one! I know what you are feeling right now..I just got my Little Pixie spayed a week ago (tomorrow) she is a petite 3lbs (just under) I was very worried about it all...but she did brilliantly! she also had 7 baby teeth removed and microchipped. she was very sleepy when i first brought her home..she managed to eat & drink that night and within 24 hours she almost back to normal! it couldn't have gone any better! PERFECT! she has her stitches out next week. GOODLUCK! everything will be just fine! keep us updated on her progress! I just noticed your update!!!! excellent news!!!!

| I guess little doggies get over things like that better than us people!!She was trying to lick her incision.I guess I`ll put a onesie on her. I just didn`t want to move her around too much.I know that when I had surgery the dr. told me to move around, it`ll help the soreness get out faster. I wonder how true that is. |

YT 2000 Club Member | So glad your lil one made it through the surgery well and is back home with you, I bet you're so relieved!! If she's trying to get at her incision, I'd definately keep the onesie on her at all times and only unsnap it and roll it up for her to go potty, you don't want her getting that incision open!
