| Jacks Aquarium & Pets I was just reading the post about Petland in Indiana closing and it reminded me of Jack's. I don't know if anyone is familiar with this store. I always thought it was just a fish store, but one of my neighbors was telling me she went in and they were selling dogs. Here is what I think is really weird. She said they had a 10wk old female Yorkie in the store in my town. They told her a lady came in and sold it to them because she just decided with work or something that she couldn't keep it. She said the breeder she got it from was AKC and she had sent in the paper on the dog, but didn't get it back. So Jack's can't sell it as AKC. Though, I think she said they were asking 600 or 700 for her. Seriously, how long could this lady have had a 10wk old puppy and why wouldn't she wait for papers to come back from AKC, since it takes a few weeks? Or contact the breeder to see if they wanted the puppy back. My neighbor said she looked healthy, but that another dog in there didn't. I've never been in there, but I just wondered if anyone knew anything about them or their practices.

| My grandma got her dog at Uncle Bills even thought I fussed and told her about puppy mills and pet stores. Then, whenever Oprah did the puppy mill show, I told her to watch it... now she understands what I was talking about.
