| 2 scary things my boys did this weekend! I almost thought I had to cancel my weekend trip this weekend! Saturday my little buy tried to eat a toad. My boys LOVE frogs and we'll let them play with a tree frog but not bite it or put it in their mouth. Just chase and sniff it when it hops... well my little guy found a toad. And he lunged quicker than I was and picked it up in his mouth! I got it out and moved it out of range of him but he started shaking his head and making noises and I said to my bf, if he foams we'll have to do something... i look down and he's foaming away... I literally threw him in the pool, got in and pryed his mouth open, rinsed his mouth/tounge area for a good 5 mins all while he HATED IT and wanted away from me. When I let him out, he was drippy and snorting water but he was fine! THANK GOODNESS! Then saturday evening while cooking dinner, my Fletch got out of the yard and took off, so I went to get him from his favorite spot (the neighbors house who has 2 big dogs) and he was not there.. so me & bf were running around the neighborhood yelling and calling him for about an hour. I was PANICKED!!! Luckily its a dead end street and a quiet neighborhood. FINALLY the little brat shows up down the street and I see him so I start running and calling him and he sits down and waits for me to get to him to pick him up, he's wagging his tail, panting and sooo happy to see mommy! I couldn't find BF to tell him that I had Fletch so I had to wait for him to come back from in the woods and while Im waiting I notice a horrible smell... yeah Fletch rolled around in dog poop on his little adventure! Another angry pup in the pool for a bath! Gotta love the pool! Thank god we were not using it for a few days! Let all that filter out and clean up! BFs legs are ripped to shreds and hes all brised. He looks at fletch, pets him and says 'you owe me buddy' and then he said that the scars on his legs would be nothing compared to the scar left on me if we didnt find Fletch. So it was worth it! Such a good guy!

| Oh boy! You had enough scares to last a whole month, all in one weekend! I am glad that both the kids are ok and the pool filter is working. |

| Wow! The first scare would have been enough! The second would have killed me. I am so glad they are both safe. The pool really did get a work out!

| Im telling ya.. these dogs will be the death of me. People think Im overly cautious about them but LOOK what havoc they can create in a DAY! GGEEZZZ My fletcher is a bit obsessive. So earlier that day (before he ran away) when we let them out there was a cat in BFs yard that took off... well fletch went to follow and we stopped him, then we put him in a different yard for awhile... then HOURS later he was STILL trying to find the cat! He is obsessive... so I know the second I turned my back he got out of the yard (cuz hes houdini and all) and went to find the cat! When he had no luck I guess he remembered from weeks ago that the people across the street have dogs, so he was over there. At least that is where I found him. Who knows who else he visited while running the neighborhood! Actually sometimes his obsessiveness helps me entertain him. he watches TV for hours if there is an animal on.... so when I want to clean the house or do homework I put on animal planet. Also the other day we found a tree frog in the pool and showed it to the dogs, and fletcher must have stayed by the pool for at least 2 hours watching this frog and barking at it. It was on a float just floating around the pool! Actually I have a picure of that! haha
