Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Well this is gonna be fun... Tucker has never been the type of dog that chews or pulls things or takes stuff that isn't his. Today he decided it would be fun to start pulling the toilet paper off the rolls? He's done it twice today! I don't even know how he's reaching it! I just went out in the hallway and he had litterally grabbed the paper, and pulled it down the hallway. Is there a way to stop this? cause I really don't feel like rolling up toilet paper every time I leave him by himself for 2 seconds.

| I had this problem with my cats. Duke will get q tips and toilet paper from garbage cans and tear that up all over the house. The way I kept them all from makin a mess with TP was to just keep the bathroom door closed and tell him no anytime I got ahold of toilet paper. After awhile he got the idea and I can keep the bathroom door open now.

| I have learned to keep the bathroom door closed. Topper likes to take things that are left on the side of the tub!

| He could make a fortune advertising for Andrex toilet rolls Do you have the TV adverts in America where the Labrador puppy runs off with the end of the toilet roll & wraps it round itself like knitting? Perhaps it's just a UK one. |

I Love My Babies Donating Member | That must have been a mess.... hee hee ... sorry but it is funny. I can just picture the puppy running down the hall with the toilet paper flying behind. Sandy did that to me when she was tiny.. only she made it out into the living room before I caught her. It took forever to get that stuff back on the roll. I had to keep the bathroom door shut until she grew a bit. Now she never touches it. Good luck.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | oh duh. Why didn't I even think to keep the door closed? how's that for obvious lol. Now if only we can train my brother and dad to keep it closed. Thanks guys! Meggie - we do have a commercial quite like that - probably the same one. It's always so cute! But, ironically, I've always said to myself "I'm glad I don't have to clean that up" after it lol. It's just so weird that he would suddenly start doing this - I mean he's 3 1/2! He should have already have developed his obnoxious games lol.

| We have to close the door too. It is hard to get the family to remember at first, but they get the hang of it. Easier to train the family than the furbutt!

| Mufasa will try and chew on anything and everything. I keep all the doors closed unless I'm in the actual room with him because he likes to get into stuff he's not supposed to be in. lol |

| Your lucky it took Tucker this long to find the dreaded Toilet Paper. I guess you'll have to keep the door closed Megan because Yorkies just love tissue of any kind once they find it. I bet you laughed at his antics didn't you? I did the first time Bud did it. Not so much the second and third I must admit. Keep the door closed for a couple of days and he will forget, maybe. Bud did and went onto something else, of course. |
