| Preston found a unique way to deal with being small Recently we went to my mother in law's house for a birthday party. My mother in law has a sheep dog named Cloe, we have been numerous times with Preston. In the past we have always kept Preston on his leash and by our side to prevent accidents or escapes from the house. He seems to be doing much better with going to other peoples houses without having accidents, and we made sure everyone knew he was loose and to watch out if they opened the door. For the first time Cloe and Preston interacted without anyone being right there with them. Preston devised a way to still be able to give Cloe kisses even though she is so much bigger. He would jump up onto the footstool so he could be closer to eye level. LOL I snapped a couple pics to share. Sorry had to edit to share the pics.

| How cute - and smart of him!!! We had a poodle growing up that would run around our feet when we knew we were leaving to go somewhere. Eventually, when that tactic didnt work, he learned to climb up on the dining room chair and then onto the dining room table and bark so that he was up higher where we'd see him!! LOL!! Smarties, arent they???!! |

| Thanks for all the comments on Preston being cute. I think he is adorable, and if it weren't for the fact that we already have a basset and a mixed breed, I would definately get another yorkie! They have the best personalities. Not that I don't love my other dogs just as much, but Preston just has that "happy to be alive" attitude that makes me smile no matter what is going on. He really is not much of a cuddle bug, and would rather just be left alone when he is getting ready to go to bed or take a nap. The minute he wakes up though, he is raring to go, and all over excited to see and do EVERYTHING. He sometimes irritates our other two dogs, as they are not nearly as happy go lucky, and don't always want him in their faces giving kisses, but he just does it anyway.
