| Making your own clothes Okay, I got a question. I wasn't sure where to post this. Are they any talented people out there who make their own doggie dresses? I got the cutest material for some dresses, but I can't make doggie dresses, I tried and what a mess. I'm not entirely sure if it's good material to make dresses with either. I'd like to make Tila some dresses with it, but I'm hopeless. |

| There are a lot of members here that make their own dog clothes..several vendors here make wonderful custom-made dresses. So it's definitely possible

| I sew, how can I help? What type of material is it? Some types of material are easier to sew than others. Cottons are simple, silky, lycra and knitted materials are harder to deal with.

| I was actually wondering if anybody would be willing to help me out and sew some dresses for my pup. The material is a thinner cotton I believe, I'm not too sure. I wasn't sure if I could just come out and ask, if I was allowed to ask in a post or not. I can cover the shipping to send it over and work out other details with the person making them. If possible. I would be very, very thankful! (like I said before I'm hopeless for making dresses, lol. I actually have a couple that I bought, but they're too big for her.) |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Well I probably wouldn't be able to do it (sorry) because I hand sew all my stuff and you probably don't want that but here's an idea I tried that works great. You get a onesie and reconstruct it into a shirt for your yorkie. Then you could do what I did for my cousin's yorkie, and add tulle (that tu-tu material) or sew some more fabric w/ ruffles to make it a little dress. Here's the link for how to make the shirt I explained*warning, uses the word B***: BASE AESTHETIC: Craft-minded; A Guide To Puppy Stitch and Bitch Fashion And I also LOVE this hoodie, which is also baby's clothing, so you can use to tutorial above to make it! Maintenance Mode... **Oh yeah, before you buy the onsie or w/e, make sure you get your dog's measurements and see if it fit her. You can find cheap cheap onesies and other baby clothes at your local dollar store, also.. *EDIT*Soo Sorry for the graphic language, didn't know that was there!!!!
