| Dog Friendly Beaches? I would love to take him for a couple hours to play in the sand and maybe swim. Just wanted to see if anyone could recommend a nice Northern East Coast Beach or Lake that I can take my Biggie Smalls with me. I live in Ohio so I want to be able to get to this place in less than 12 hours..so I am looking for places north of SC. Suggestions on Pet Friendly Accommodations will be appreciated too if you know if any. Thanks! |

| Dewey Beach in Delaware allows dogs all day in the off season and in the morning and evening during summer. Rehobeth is really close and also allows dogs in the off season, although not at all in the summer.

| That is something that I would really enjoy doing with Buddy. There are no beaches around me at all! |

| Carol, It's time for a road trip if there are no beaches near you! I've been thinking its time for Ginger and I to take an overnight trip to the beach. She loves the beach! Bernie is not impressed by it. He'll be staying home with dh.

| Good for you. That sounds great. I am from So Jersey origanially and there are beaches galore. Every time I visit I just can't find the darn time catching up and everything with family and they live farther away today then before. I truly dream of walking in the surf with him. I know he would love it when he got over the trauma from the waves hitting the shore. Hopefully one day, thinking about moving back, we will get there. |
