| Our new member of the family!! I just wanted to thank everyone that sent me messages offering to help with our search for our new addition to the family. We spent a long time looking and did a lot of visits yesterday and found the one!! His name is Bailey and he is just so precious! He loves our daughter, and sleeps through the night! He does get up about once to go potty, but that is all. He is just a doll and a very big character! The only thing we really have to work on, is he doesn't care to be held. He loves to sit in our laps, and sleep on us or next to us, but holding is a whole other story. It's been awhile since I have had a puppy around, is this normal? As in, this is his new home and has to get used to us? I am working on it, but it's a little sad as he runs to us, plays, eats great, and sleeps right next to us or on us, but holding, he says NO to! Here are some pictures. I hope I get them attached right! Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome and all the messages! I tried to reply to everyone, and if I left anyone out, I apologize! It's been quite busy lately! |

| I have had Kalina for over a year now and she has NEVER sat on anyone's lap. She'll lie at my feet or next to me on the sofa and she literally never leaves my side - but she is not a lap dog. She does, however, like to be held. I guess they are all different. Still, she is pure delight. Enjoy your new baby, he's just adorable!

| Its really great that you got you a new little one. He will come around and be held. Sometimes they are having to learn all different things and it takes awhile for them to get older and calmed down. I really think he will come around. All mine like to be held but Cali and she is 7mos now. She is slowly coming around but she is too busy and wants to walk and run around more than being held.

| Puppies are very gregarious. He will calm down eventually and will "allow" you to hold him, but right now he is too busy doing his thing.

| That might change or it might just be his personality. Lulu loves to be held when she wants to be held, and when she doesn't, she'll just walk right out of your arms and plop down next to you.... |

| Thank you all so much for your wonderful compliments!! He had to stay home today for about 1 hour and as soon as he was in his crate, he was silent, and when we got home he was snuggled up in his crate with his toy. So far things are going great! He is really learning quickly, and such a playful little fella! Thank you all again for the opinions on being held. I'm sure he will come around as he loves being by our side. With it being quite some time since I last had a puppy around, I forgot a little more on the puppy stage! We are so happy to be here! Meant to add: He is 10 weeks old today!
