| Most dogs are lactose intolerant... I gave Bailey a few tablespoons of milk a few weeks after we got him and he threw up EVERYWHERE. That was before I realized most dogs are lactose intolerant, so I won't be repeating that mistake anymore Good luck |

| After a dog is weened, it doesn't need milk. I never do it and I wouldn't suggest it. However, I do give lowfat cottage cheese every long once in a while. |

| I wouldn't give it to them, either. I'll tell ya something, though. When I was much younger I had a chihuahua that I gave a little bit of chocolate milk to every morning of her life in a little saucer. She always begged for it. Yes. I know. That's a double no-no. But I didn't know about those things then. However, she lived to be 17.

| Gus loves milk,,, I don't give it to him because he gets really really bad gas. He gets the same way with ice cream. I don't give him much at all. Just a taste or 2 amounting to about a teaspone. The first time I gave it to him and had gas, I thought it could be a combo of what he ate that day. So tried 2 more times and both resulted in smelly gas. My daughter likes to share her drinks with him,,,,, mostly water but has given him milk. Boy she sure learned not to share milk with him again.
