| Why does my dog eat grass? I've noticed lately that when I take Lila to the park, she eats a lot of grass. She doesn't vomit after, and seems ok but I"m curious why she does this. Anyone know why?

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I've always wondered this! I've been told that they eat it when their stomachs hurt, but Tucker LOVES eating grass even when he's perfectly fine. Thanks for the link. Very interesting!

| I have noticed Lily will eat grass, small rocks, and deer poop when we go outside? I think the grass and deer poop are pretty normal dog behaviors but i am not sure about the small rocks?!? Maybe it looks like her food? Does anyone elses pup do this? I try to catch her and tell her not to eat them but she just runs and jukes me like it is some sort of 'catch me' game. |

| Max eats grass, stones, leaves and flowers, in fact anything that's on the ground, including insects. He'll do this even after eating his food. He also enjoys, the chase. You can see the devilment in his eyes. The vet say's he'll grow out of it. I hope he's right. Max has been doing this since we got him at eight weeks old. Talk about needing eyes in the back of your head lol. |
