| Cotton or Silk? Could you fine ladies and gents tell me if you think he has a cotton coat or a silk coat? I'm still kinda new to this... Thank you so much Oh and NO his leash is not on him in the photo it was on him when I was brushing him to make sure he did not run off

| Looks cotton to me..yorkierose will tell you by the color of your yorkies eyes.. I am sure it is her that can do that.. hope that helps..anne |

| thank you laides I was curious he is starting to turn colors as well. My lil man is getting older... heheh thank you for opinions I was unsure when you could tell, not that i matters to me really, but was curious!

His head looks silky, but I have a cotton coat and his face/head is quite smooth....so you can't go by that. The color will start breaking down his back but you may not see the full coat until he's close to a year old or later even.

| I can't tell for sure by the picture (kind of agree it still looks like puppy fur) but I can tell you that you can't go by wavy/straight. My daughter's baby, Spike has a cotton coat and it is stick straight. His coat is the straightest of our three.

| Is a hard silk the same as a modified or soft? I'm always trying to figure Sugar out. I have one with a clear silk, and one with a clear cotton and Sugar is neither.
