| Vet checkup Sadie had her vet checkup today and got her deworming medication and one shot. She did great! The vet says that she is 3 1/2 lbs. That means in the month we've had her she has put on 2 lbs! Wow!! She might turn out to be a big girl when she is full grown. The vet also recommended that if I want her ears to stand up to just cut the hair on her ears and in her ears and use regular masking tape at the base of her ears for a week and it should train the cartelage (sp?) to stand up on its own. She will pull and try to take the tape off but to keep putting it on. And if I dont care about her ears, to just leave her be! She has to go back in 3 weeks for one more shot.....Just an update! |

| I am glad things went well for Sadie. You could wait to do anything about her ears. My Suzi started holding her ears up at around 14 weeks I did not do anything either. I thought her ears were too heavy , but she decided to stand them up all by herself I am guessing your little one is around 13 weeks? Suzi is a little over four months, and sometimes she has one ear up and one ear down. They are cute with the ears floppy

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Keep the hair trimmed off her ears and they probably won't need taping
