| Dressing your dog. I was just wondering...do you guys dress your dogs in the summer too? I put PJs on Rika at night now because I turn the thermostat down way too low but I would never dress her up to go outside right now, it's way too hot. I was just curious. I really only put clothes on Rika when it's cold or if it's cute. I.E. t-shirts, coats, pjs. I don't buy her clothes just because I want her to walk around all day everyday clothed....I'm not saying you guys are weird who do it, I was just wondering if I'm the only one here who doesn't dress her dog to go outside for no reason.

| Mostly I just do her hair up with bows. I do dress her up for her obedience class at Petsmart cuz it's at night and it's cold in there so she won't overheat. Otherwise I really don't dress her in the summer cuz it's toooo hot! |

| depends on what time I take her out. I will dress her if it's evening and a bit breezy and sometimes just because it's cute. Never when it's too hot. But I'm weird I like to dress her up all the time, of course bearing in mind the weather.

| I put little shirts, bandanas and bows on Jewels. I never dress Chachi though. I probably would if I had something that fit him.

| I don't dress my dogs up in the summer because it's too hot and humid. But I do all the time once it starts to get chilly/cold outside.

| I only dress my dogs when the weather allows me to. Lately it's been to darn hot for me to wear clothes, so i think imagine how hot it would be for the furbabies. But I do dress them when it is cooler and even in winter. I looove to dress them up in winter |

| I mainly do it when we have people over...I just have a few t-shirts though. Tonight is Romeo's second puppy class and it's COLD in there so I think I'm gonna dress him for it...just to see what kind of reaction I get!

| I don't usually dress them for a walk outside because it's been too hot.. and most of their outfits don't have harness holes in them and I don't know how to sew so I won't cut one in there either. When it gets cold I plan to dress them all the time. I also dress them in the house whenever I need them to calm down because being in clothes calms them down a bunch.

| I love to dress my babies. But if its to hot I let them run naked...lol. When we go for walks though, I just make sure I choose harnesses made with a light cotton fabric that breathes and thier fine. That way they can be fashionable and comfortable for their walks. I do always bring water. |

| Right now--I only have the little t-shirts that Walmart carries and I put them in those. This weekend or next weekend I am going shopping though so I can get tons of cute clothes for her and Daphne and some bows for her hair! I don't plan to dress them all the time, but when the mood strikes and depending on the weather and such also.

| Gosh, poor little guy, it's way too hot outside to put clothes on Sully right now. Some evenings, when we have friends over to watch movies, etc - and we have the a/c cranked up really high, then I'll put a tshirt or maybe just a cute bandana on him. Today we went to pick blackberries at my aunt's "farm" and Sully was really hot outside. Not only did I let him run "naked" and play with his "cousins" the german shepard (Sarge) and sheltie/spitz mix (Sandy) - but I even took water from my water bottle and wet his hair down a bit to cool him off! Of course it evaporated in like 2 minutes, lol. He has such great spring/fall clothes but only 1 winter sweater! I'm thinking I better start buying him more sweaters and coats. Has anyone bought that cute little vestcoat from lovelonglong?

| i dont dress them up for outside but if chloe does have a dress on I will let her run out to go potty real quick. But since my dogs are indoor dogs, yes I do dress up the little ones up. Especially Chloe. My chihauhua just always wears a necklace. My boxer however is naked She is tooooo hot for clothing. I will try to put a bandana on her. I just make them all girly looking

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Both mine think they're All That dressed - I don't have clothes on them mostly cause they're in and out and it's HOT at night I DO put jammies on Cheri - she loves curling up in her little nightie and lays right down when I put it on her. |

| I never dress mine in the heat of the summer here, it is just too hot!! They do always have clothes on in the winter if they go out. And Mignon gets chilled easier than Rio so i imagine she will always have a sweater and a coat on in the cold weather. I do put their bows and stuff on in the summer.I LOVE to dress them, kind of like playing Barbie |
