| I wonder why she doesn't post pictures of the mothers to these puppies or give you any info about them? She is using her Pistol as the stud but I bet the female are not 2 lb's...that is probably why they are hardly ever metioned. She wants people to think the puppies will be super tiny because of the parents, so she shows you pistol and makes sure that you know pistol is the sire to them and he is only 2 lb's!

| hmmm......2 lbs and prides herself on these tinies - but not one word or picture of the moms. I always have problems with a breeder who doesn't post pictures of the parents on their website. I would not buy from a breeder that I had no idea what their lines look like, how big they are, etc. Then there is the whole issue of priding herself on breeding such tinies. I wonder what the moms look like. I don't think the perfect yorkie - even looks like a face most would use to describe a perfect yorkie Plus she uses White Rain shampoo & conditioner to bathe the yorkies

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with the others, where the mom? I just hate it when breeders pick out one trait and emphasize that. Size is just one part of standard, and not the most important, in my opinion. One thing is for sure, because of this thread, she'll get lots of hits, and be placed higher up on googles list of Yorkie breeders.

| O.K. I guess that is pretty much the going price for a small yorkie these days but lots of things bother me. Every puppy is cute and you certainly can't tell what they may look like unless you see the pedigree and since she doesn't show it, I'm sure it doesn't amount to much. I'm not saying a breeder always has to post a pedigree but for that much money I would want to see it. Not even a pic of the mother. I agree if that's a perfect yorkie, I must need my eyes examined again. lol If you are looking for a gorgeous 3.5 lb. female from a wonderful breeder, pm me and I will give you their name.

| I thought it was strange that she never put the puppies down. The heads seemed awfully wobbly.Did any of you guys or gals notice this? Last edited by vviccles1; 07-05-2008 at 10:49 AM. |

I Love Thor Donating Member | she bothers me. Her 'perfect' yorkie isn't even standard...Although the puppies are very cute, she is all about tiny tiny is the best...which is not everything at all! |

| My heart tells me that there is something very wrong about this breeder/pups .Tiny does not always equal healthy. I thought the male did not seem 100% healthy . AND there is no pictures of the females? Hummm I wonder what she is hiding?

| I also did not like the comment she made, on how she does everything humanly possible to breed the tiniest yorkies.

| size = quality? no way! That lady reminds me of a.... (hum, how to put this nicely)... not so intelligent lady that I met today at the park this noon. She said Alastor is really cute, asked how much he weighs and when I told her she said that he is way to big and that she wants one that is 1/2 his size! I told her that if she did find one that size as an adult it probably wouldn't live long...and she said thats OK because she just wants one to carry everywhere with her in her purse. Alastor is just 2 1/2 lbs and is too small in my eyes. I was hoping he would grow to be 5lbs but he seems to have stopped growing. Even a 7lb yorkie is perfect to carry around and they are all REAL dogs NOT just something to get attention with, no matter their size. I think this breeder is just making people's perceptions about size = quality worse and is using that perception to make $. Both of my boy's parents are 5lbs+ and he will be no bigger than 3lbs (if I'm lucky enough to get him that big) so one can never truly know how big a pup will be, even looking at genetics etc. I bet a lot of her clients are not only disappointed but also have to pay a lot in vet bills.
