| I did contact them. And thank you for posting this. I have been on a mission to combat this sort of thing for more than a year now, and I was wondering if I should post something about it on this site. Since you've already brought it up, I'm going to post something in the general forum just to see if there's any interest, even though it's not really a Yorkie topic. Please take a look at that. Warmest regards, Jade |

| Here's the response I got from them... Hello, Thanks for the response. We are an animal rescue team, presently in Cameroon to fight against the abuse and exploitation of animals in this part of the world. We have well over 10 pets for adoption among which are the two yorkies you wish to adopt. They are all trained and ready to be loved and cared for by any loving and caring home/homes.So we wish to locate new homes that are loving and caring to pets.So if you can assure us that they will get love and care from your home, you shall be the proud owner of this fascinating creature. You can view our website for more information on the Yorkies available for adoption(www.afcayorkies.110mb.com).Just get back to us with the answers to the following questions. -Have you ever lived with a Yorkie before or any other puppy? -do you have an acre of land where they can always play around? -Are you aware of the love and attention that Yorkies need? -will every one in your home be fully committed to the adoption of a new pet? -what about if you know any good vet in your area? -Where exactly are you located? Thanks for understanding and we look forward to read from you. God be with you. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | That's a new one, and a real low as far as scammers go. I've heard of byb's setting up "rescue sites" and "selling" their old breeding stock through them, but this looks like the whole things is a fraud. I don't know who you could report this to, rescue agencies are non-profit, and this place, I'm sure wouldn't fit in that category.

| I contacted a scammer whilst looking (before Mika), I didn't know about this type of scam and the ad was much more convincing than this one! I got a very similar reply, thats when I realized and became much more vigilant! Some time after I received a fake paypal e-mail asking for all my details, it looked genuine at first glance, luckily I decided to log in to my paypal account via ebay to check if there was any mention there and of course there wasn't!!! I had never had any fake/scam e-mails before and I wonder if the two are linked?!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | found some - these are some of the sites people can report these lowlifes to this one says it's a combined site with the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center How to Report a Scam Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home "NCL's National Fraud Information Center/Internet Fraud Watch" and I don't know if this is worth it or they'll even look - but straight to the FBI Federal Bureau of Investigation - Cyber Investigations - Cybercrime and there's always the Rip Off Report - Ripoff Report: By Consumers, For Consumers |

| So sad When I use to raise rabbits I would get e-mails all the time that they wanted to buy my bunnies. They would try to send me a check for over the amount the bunnies were worth then ask for you to send the extra money back. People would do this, ship the bunnies out and send the "extra" money back only to later find out the check was fake. Now the seller was out the money, but even worse wondering what happened to the bunnies! So very sad!
