Multi pet household, keeping clean. Hey everyone. How does everyone else keep their homes clean having more than one dog? My place is clean, but every once in awhile I'll notice it smelling a little doggie. Not, like pee or poo smell, but doggie. lol. Not sure how else to describe it, how can I keep it fresh? Thanks.

I have carpet in my hallway, bedroom and computer room, I use arm and hammer powder I take all of the babies out of the room sprinkle the powder on the floor and vacuum. Once a month I boil hot water on the stove and put some rug cleaner in it, I pore it all over the floor and let it sit for a few minutes, then I pick it up with my steam cleaner, my house never smells like dog...LIES ... my sofa does, hehehehehe, can't clean that with a steam vacuum, I tried it doesn't really work that good, but febreeze does

Yep, you guessed right. I do indeed have carpeting. The living room, bedrooms and hallway. We're going to be taking it out and putting in the flooring this summer, so hopefully that'll help. In the meantime, I'll do my best.

Dogs are not allowed on my carpeting without supervision. It is only in the living room. The rest of the floors are mopped everyday, sometimes twice a day. Candles help if I think it smells a bit after the mopping, but the mopping usually takes care of any thing. Wash beds about once a week too. (I have several beds, so that there are beds down even when beds are being washed.)

I think I did a bad thing?? I used some of that shake and vac stuff on the carpet and I am afraid Lily might have got on it too soon and that might be making her sneeze and choke?? ALSO....I clean up her pee spots w/odo ban and she smells that after I spray there too?? I hope I haven't hurt her?? I need to get that "Nature Stuff" probably?? I didn't even think about it hurting her...I feel so dumb and UNFIT!!! Poor little girl. Her mommy has abused her!!!!

| Natures Miracle works great, I've been using that. My babies are 5 and 6 months old. I bathe them more often than necessary, so they never smell like dogs. In between baths sometimes I use a freshening spray. Now, I've decided to rip my carpet out, and put in hardwood. Now they will scratch that to heck I guess. Anything for those babies!
