| Humping the Puppy So Malibu is starting to be very affectionate to Roxy! If he starts to mount her, what should we do? Is yelling no and scolding him appropriate since he is just acting on his instincts? This is what my husband is doing and if that is wrong I would like some info to share with him...is he right? |

| it is not wrong! princess used to hump but once we said a stern NO with a tap on her butt ..she stops.. she hasnt done it since.. maybe once every few months she will try again but i just give her "the look" and she'll stop.. yes its natural but if you dont stop it now, its only going to get worse IMO |

| Is he fixed ? Just curious? Sometimes they hump even when fixed, it is natural behavior. Just correct him, and then put him down. Be consistent and patient. These dogs are very smart, and will understand with time.
