| 1 week update We picked up Bently 1 week ago and he's doing great... loves his crate... has had only 1 accident in the house in the last 3 days.... has learned to go in the yard after I say his potty command....... But........ (you knew this was coming) He is only 13 weeks old........ and Last night he started doing what little boy dogs are know to do...... I hope I don't have to spell it out....... WHAT DO I DO???? I pushed him off my leg and said no.... but a few seconds later he was doing it again......... so I put him in time out in his crate for a about 1 minute, but had to take him out because I felt so sorry for putting him in there....... Help............... |

| My male doxie did this a lot when we got him. We taught him the command 'put it away'. lol It took a while but we said those words and took him away from the situation then turned our back to him. He eventually got it but it took a lot of patience on my part.

| My puppy has started to do that too and my trainer told me to keep a leash on him around the house and when he does that to pull him away and tell him No in a stern voice. It is working for me. |

| He sounds like he's doing great!! I've only had little girls, so I can't help you. But you already got some great advice.
