| I think Layla is more human than dog. This may sound odd... lol... but for the past two weeks i have been home because i have been sick but today we went back to work (working for my parents cleaning boats). While we were at home, Layla usually sleeps until around 11 and then we play until she naps again around 3 (i SWEAR she is a child) so today since we were at work... her schedule was messed up and she was in the office with my mom and just beside herself.. she didn't want outside or food ot to be held and i said to my mom.. just put her in her crate... she needs to have a nap. and honest to god... that settled her down... and again... she didn't have MUCH sleep today (as much as normal) so we are at home right now and i just KNOW she needs to have a nap so she is in her crate... and now sleeping. Anyone's else's dog like this. She is like a 3 year old.. no nap and she is a mess! |

| Suzi naps as long as she can be next to me. Poor thing, every time I get up she folllows me everywhere, then crashes where I am at. SHe will not nap by herself.. Has to be next to me at all times. I get up, she gets up too, no matter if sleeping .

Same here! Doesn't matter how long she's been sleeping--if I move, Lily gets up, comes with me, and then crashes at my feet. And oh yeah, everybody in my family has died laughing when I have Lily with me anywhere and say something about it being time for her afternoon nap. She's definitely a baby! I'm a teacher, so I'm off for the summer and it's been funny to see Lily's daily schedule. She naps at 10 and then again at about 2 or 3... every day, without fail.

I Love My Babies Donating Member | Same here. When I am out in the yard, I look like a mother duck... with all her chicks following in a row. Same thing when we are in the house. It is about 4:15 here and since I am on the computer, I have 4 little bodies sleeping next to me. I love it! (3 are mine and 1 is just visiting.)

When I am home Jax and Jolie are wherever I am . There was a time Jax would sit at the bedroom door and cry to go to bed . It was so funny. Now he just waits for us to say nite nite then off to bed it is . There are other ways they act like children though .

| Conner has to have a morning and an afternoon nap. He did not get an afternoon nap today, and my sister's kids were with him today, so he didn't get much of a morning nap. He was being a little bugger this evening, but he is napping now. I just hope he sleeps tonight!!

| Bella has to have her naps too. During the week while we are working she sleeps most of the day and at night she is just full of energy. On the weekends her schedule gets completely messed up. After 10:00-11:00 a.m. she is just worn out. She will follow me around the house plopping herself down whereever she can to catch a few winks. Once I took her with me on an all day shopping trip to Miami. On the way home that night she was so grouchy. She kept trying to sleep and my other dog, Chloe, moved beside her and Bella flipped out and tried to attack her. That was completely unlike Bella. I think she was totally sleep deprived.

| Mine will nap if I'm on the computer, but no other time. They are too busy keeping mom in their sight. |

| That sounds just like Simon, when he's tired he is super cranky and obnoxious!!! Hallie hardly ever sleeps and I don't know why but she is always up. I think she has some insomnia like me. She doesn't nap and plays at night time while Simon and I are sleeping. Simon said to tell Layla that she can come nap with him |

| Oh yes, my 3 get extremely fussy when they are overtired. The weekends are the worst because they are so busy watching my every move and can't nap unless I lay on the couch with them

Senior Yorkie Talker | Lola is like that too. She'll be out cold and the second I get up she's right at my feet ready to go wherever I am headed. I always say I should've named her Shadow because that's what she is, my shadow. But I wouldn't have it any other way! |
