| To late to register?? Can anyone tell me if there is a time limit on sending in the papers to the AKC? When I got Diesel, I also got his AKC papers. I just sent them in this week and he will be 6 months tomorrow. A guy I work with told me that AKC will not accept the papers if you wait over six months. Now I'm worried I waited to long. I tried to find the answer on the AKC website but didn't find anything. |

| No, it's not to late to register. I still have yet to register my 11 month old and just checked her papers. I have until Oct. 30th after that they charge a late fee, but you can still register them. Thanks for reminding me, lol, I just keep putting it off |

| You have up to a year before you get charged a late fee... see Step 3, Late Fee on your registration form... it gives you the date(s) as to when you would be charged any late fees.

| confused about prices How much is it. Cause I got mine and need to register my izzy and on the paper it says the price of the package you choose but then it has a twenty dollar amount already on it so does that mean that I pay that price (price of the package) plus the twenty bucks? |

I can't find my registration papers on my dog? I got her around the time my mom took sick and moved into our house and I had to care for her until she passed away from cancer. the registration of the dog took back seat to all that was going on. The orginal breeder I got her from has passed away and I don't know how to follow this up. I think I am going to just be screwed. | |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Here's the fee schelule, it's really cheap if you do it the first year. Remember you are helping to support the AKC with your money, and they are the only purebred registry in the United States with an ongoing routine kennel inspection program. Hopefully, this will help stops puppy mills. https://www.akc.org/reg/fee_schedule.cfm Amber beat me to it.

| Yay!! Got my papers today.... I now have.... Bame's Little Diesel Man I feel so much better... He ended up getting very spoiled over the long weekend! My husband let him sleep with us one night, now when I get ready for bed he runs for all he's worth and jumps into my bed and gets all comfy in his spot! At least he doesn't move until I get up in the morning! |
