| Hanging out with friends at night??? Do any of you ladies go out with your friends at night??? I'm always kinda afraid to leave Riley alone at night. It feels weird. Plus I don't get home till around 1am. I'm sure he probably sleeps, but is this bad?? TIA!! |

| We go out sometimes, and Avery is fine! i always feel guilty-but we don't leave her alone thaaat often. Or if i go somewhere without Tim(Avie's daddy) he is always there to keep her company! (he loves his baby girl just as much as i do!) ..But if we are going out together(which is a majority of the time) we make sure to take her on a walk or do somethin' fun for her, that gets some energy out(then she is pooped and sleeps!) we always leave the tv on and she has PLENTY of toys to keep her company! -OR- alot of times we take her to my moms house(which is like 2 min from our house) and leave her there so she can play with her fur-cousins (yorkie & boxer/terrier mix) they are all buds-and she always has a blast with them! It is totally fine to leave your little one at home, as long as he is comfortable & you can trust him there alone! And as long as he has water/food, and safe toys to play with! you will always feel guilty.. i know i do. but i can almost promise your baby will sleep & as long as you're not leaving them home all day AND night-he will be fine! Plus, its the best feeling seeing your baby when you get home! (i always miss her sooo much! hehe her kisses are the best!)

| during the week, i try to stay with her at night, only because i know shes home alone all day long while im working and i just feel so bad. the weekends i will make sure i hang out with her most of the day if i know im going out that night... i feel so guilty all the time.. the guilt is so bad sometimes that i have my mom come and stay with her if i have to go somewhere, this way i can have a good time knowing she has company. im sick in the head, but shes my life

| Oh i know the feeling. And if i do go out i try not be out for more than four hours but sometimes things just dont work out that way. The other thing that i do is leave the TV on for him sometimes just so he's not in dead silence, something i regret doing when i get my electric bill but when i see his cute little face i know its worth it. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I always feel guilty for leaving Lola alone. It's one of the reasons I would love to get another dog. Actually, I think it's harder on me than it is on her. During the week I'm never really gone for more than an hour, but on the weekends her daddy and I do the shopping and laundry and go out to dinner or for drinks and all that good stuff. She's usually alone for a few hours and I always wonder if she's ok. We did have some progress the other day though. We were leaving her in her crate when we left the house, but the other day we left her out in the front rooms and closed off the back area of the house. When we got back we noticed she didn't tear up anything in the house or eliminate. She was a perfect angel all by herself. We were very proud. Our baby is growing up so fast!!! |

| I feel guilty about leaving Max and Abbie but I try to spend as much time as possible with them when I'm home. They are alone all day when I'm working but fortunately they keep each other company. I'm off during the summer so it makes up (in my mind) for the time I'm gone the rest of the year. I still feel guilty if I go out during the evenings so I don't do it all the time.

YT 1000 Club Member | We all get the "guilts" about leaving them home alone...it really is harder on us than it is on them...I don't do it often and I miss her SOOO much...I try and make sure someone will be home...

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | It used to be a lot easier for me to leave him alone when Rusty and Maddie were there too. But when we go out, we just tell him to "watch the house" and don't make a big deal out of leaving, and then he just sleeps until we get home.

| Oh I go out. I try to limit it to only once a week though that they are home that late alone, but I have 2 boys to keep each other company when im gone. I just feel bad already that I am gone from 730am - 6pm monday - friday and they are gated into my kitchen all that time. I try to never go out straight from work so I go home and spend some time with them then go out. Or if I do straight from work Im usually home only a couple hours later than normal, i dont spend all night out. I love my boys and would do anything for them, but I need somewhat of a life too and I know they are safe at home when Im out.
