| What to get the boy who has EVERYTHING???? It is almost Valentino's 4th birthday...he was born July 4, 2004, and I am trying to figure out what to get the boy who has EVERYTHING!?!?!? We just built him his own "puppy potty" outside, he has his own puppy tent set up on the back patio, toys galore, many cute doggie beds, tons of clothes, a doggie-size mirror set up so he can check himself out in his closet, travel carriers, car seats, toothbrushes, hair brushes, a collection of harnesses, doggie charms for his harnesses...and the list goes on and on... We were thinking about getting a baby pool for him and Lola to enjoy this summer. Does anyone here have any experience with their pups and baby pools? I think he might really like one..whaddaya think??? 1. The boy who has everything...

| He is so handsome, bet he would love a baby pool, when Tricksie was 2 months old, she jumped right in our big swimming pool. Scared me to death, I jumped in and she was swimming like she knew what she was doing.

| We tried him at my parent's pool...but he seemed a bit overwhelmed. The last few times I gave him some water on the back patio he put his paw right in there and was splashing around in it...that is what made me think of the baby pool.

Senior Yorkie Talker | A baby pool sounds like a great idea. My Lola enjoys them very much. In fact I should probably get her one of her own. She loves the water and splashing around. I think Valentino will enjoy it! |

| What if you get him the baby pool and another yorkie sibling? Then he would really have everything!

| Aww what a CUTIE!!!! I can see how he gets everything I think a baby pool would be great! I have a Little Tykes pool still from my kids who have outgrown it. I am going to fill it and let the water warm up for the furbutts to get some splash time in too What else could the boy who has everytthing get????? Hmmmmmm How about a day at a Dog Spa? Get him a massage? I looked up a couple of places in Philadelphia Mind you, I have only read about these places, I have no personal experience w/ them Pooch's Choice - Pet Grooming Salon Canine Creatures Comforts Bathhouse Pet Spa - Pet Grooming Or maybe donate to a local shelter by getting him something from one i.e. toy, clothes, treats?? Just a thought! I'm sure no matter what you do he will be super happy on his Birthday!! Make sure to post pics of his party! HTH! |

| Wow...great minds think alike!!! I am in the process of earning a degree in small animal /canine massage...so Tino is already my "guinea pig" as I am learning the techniques and canine anatomy...hahah! He sure does love those massages though. AND...I was thinking about making a donation in his honor to the United Yorkie Rescue because we have bought items from them before and as our "favors" at our wedding we made donations to the Rescue in each of our guests' names. I noticed they now have a program where you can donate to specific pets in need to help with medical bills and things like that. Thanks for your great ideas . Quote:

| think a pool would be great. Another thing you could add if you wanted to is one of those kids sprinkler toys that you attach to the hose and water sprinkles from. We got one of those for chachi and he has a great time playing in it
