Should I ignore it? OMG! I'm going crazy. I have to keep rescuing Hero, Cookie's 6 week old puppy from the other dogs. It sounds like they're really hurting him. 13 week old Chester gets after him all the time. If I don't stop that, Chester's mom, Ciara, joins in, then Cookie gets in there, too. I hope with Chester going to his new family next Saturday that will end the worst of it. Hero and Cookie are in the playpen right now. She either picks on him til he squeals (which isn't as pathetic as when Chester is after him) or stares him down. So, I think she's trying to teach him his place LOL My daughter says if I keep rescuing him, he'll turn into a wimp LOL Should I just keep him in the playpen all the time? He is weaned early because his mother didn't have enough milk, so he eats with the other dogs.

puppy 6 weeks is too young to be with a 12 week old or adults other then mom.... put him in a small pen near the others for company and to watch them play..let him out to play, sprtize with Bitter Apple and watch him with the others while he is out...good luck PS..if you do not rescue him, he can become very timid and fearful...distrusting. He is a baby and when he is bigger, he can fight back. Last edited by YorkieRose; 06-23-2008 at 06:20 AM.

| A pup that age should not be left unsupervised around any other dog but its mom.

I agree with the other posters. The younger pups need to be separated from older pups.

He's been in the playpen most of the day today, as I haven't been home much to supervise. Right now my granddaughter is sitting on the floor holding him on her lap. He's so sweet.
