| Insecurity Where is the dog whisperer when I need him....heck with him Yorkie Talk members are better My Lil' Sadie who is 11 months always carries her toy around in her mouth she will not go outside without her favorite toy in her mouth. The only time it comes out of her mouth is when she eats or when laying in my arms. What can I do to help her to let go of the toy.

| How long has she done this? Maybe it's like w/ skin kids and their security blankets type of thing. Maybe she will outgrow it. Have you ever tried hiding the toy, does she get really stressed if you do? Hhhmmmmm? |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | They out grow that most of the time. My little guy Rusty carried around a stuffed toy bigger than him for over a month. It was so cute. He is now 10+ and still loves his stuffed dog but doesn't carry it around anymore.

| She started this several months ago, about the time I brought another puppy into our family. I have put it up but she will grab another one. She will not go out the door if she doesn't have a toy.

| Boy I don't have any ideas on that one, but she sure sounds like a little sweetie. These yorkies do seem pretty sensitive don't they. That is part of why I love them so much. Hope you get some good answers. Like Erino77 said though, she may just outgrow it.
