| help yall Callie has been getting a lot of tick bites lately I have been trying everything safe I can think of first we tried frontline plus and it didnt work then we did advantix which worked really well the first 2 and a half weeks but it definitely is not now. I am pretty sure the ticks are coming from out neighbors yard where is grass has got to be at least 5 feet tall in the back yard its so bad he has even said he has found black widow spiders and I know there have to be snakes back there as well and I dont know what to do because I cant just keep her inside all the time she has a doggy door and just loves to be outside so much one of her favorite things is to just lay in the sun but Im so worried about her getting anemia or something from the ticks or a snake coming over and bitting her or a black widow spider bitting her. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Please help I'm just dont know what else to do! My grandpa is friends with him sorta so I cant be rude to him.

| You might spray your yard with a flea and tick killer. Also be sure to inspect Callie every evening for ticks. |

| Do you know of a pet safe yard spray for ticks? I do check her ever night if not a few times a day.

| Maybe since your grandpa is buddies with the neighbor, he could get him (in a gentle kinda' way) to cut down his yard... I know here we have a city ordinance and tickets would be issued in that type of situation (you could contact the city anonymously if you have an ordinance like that) - - in the mean time, I would just check her on a regular basis, keep up with the K9 Advantix and talk to your vet about a good yard spray, as has been suggested here... I know feeding garlic can do wonders with fleas... but does that work with ticks??
