| Is this right?? Chloe' got his rabie shot in his neck, last MOnday. He still has a lump in the neck where he got it. The Dr's nurse said this is normal. And it will go away. Has this happened to anyone else. Is this true? Thanks |

| It is normal. If it gets bigger or doesn't go away soon, tell the vet. Since its been a week, I'd hope it is starting to go away.

| Abby had a lump on her neck for nearly 2 months from a shot the breeder gave her. The vet looked at it and said there was no need for concern at that time, but to keep an eye on it. It has finally gone away. I hope your baby will be fine and the lump will be gone in no time.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It happened to Pixie last shot she got and it was on her thigh. I called the vet and they said that was what it most likely was but bring her in and they would check it out, I did it was from her shot and they said they don't charge for the visit and they get a lot of calls on it. Pixie's took about 6 weeks to go away

YT 2000 Club Member | I've never had it happen to any of our furkids but I have heard it's normal and it will go away. I've also read some scarier things about them when they don't go away. I'd keep an eye on it and if it doesn't go away, I'd go back to the vet.

| My vet said it is actually a good sign if there is a bump at first. Buddy had one that lasted a couple months, so we had it looked at and he said there was no problem. It went away shortly after that.
