| White on chest as pup...normal? Please forgive me if this has been posted before. I am relatively new. I am working with a wonderful breeder and am getting my first Yorkie. I have the first choice between two males. I have to make the decision so the other person interested knows which one she/he is getting. I attached the pictures of the two I get to choose from (how lucky am I?!). The smaller one has white on his chest. Is this standard for pups this age? Does this marking mean they will grow into a more dark or light blue? I am having such a hard time deciding when they are SO young. Any advice? |

| I cannot say for sure, but none of my babies have had a white chest before. However puppy coat does change in a few months so perhaps the white is no big deal. Which one does your heart like more???

| A small white spot on the chest is very normal and will eventually blend in with the tan and sometimes will disappear with age. I dont believe it has much to do about the color of the blue as I have had babies with white chests that have stayed black and some that have gone blue. It also doesnt mean they are a mix or a parti or a parti carrier. Looks like it will be a hard decision to make as the pictures are cute!!!! |

Senior Yorkie Talker | grain de beauty. my Lela had white on chest when she was a baby but the white was gone around about 4 months old. some people comments that the white on chest would be a grain of beauty, nobody can assure about this anyway. by the way, how old is the males babies? 6 or 8 weeks? or more? | Get the one with the white chest!!!! It isn't considered "show quality" but I think it is absolutely adorable! My Epsilon has a little white chest and chin and I LOVE it. I think it is so adorable. It adds to his personality He's 8mo old and still hasn't "grown out of it". I hope he doesn't... |

| Thank you for all of your advice! So hard making that final choice. I want them both! The babies right now are only 2 1/2 weeks old. I thought it was weird to choose so early on, but since my breeder is getting many request, I have to. BTW - Epsilon is SOOOO cute! Wow! |
